The twilight was once again starting to light up the sky. He had been waiting all night.
“Please? he said once again, pleading begging. “Please open?”

He couldn’t understand. The disappointment tore his soul, broke his heart. His smile was still pasted to his face, hoping till the very end. Inside he was crying.

He built the boat, piece by piece. It was the exact replica of a boat he knew, a boat sunk to the bottom of the deep sea.
As he fastened the final pieces a story came to life. Two lovers sailing the seas, youngsters loving like only youngsters in love can. Wild and free they were conquering the world.
On the ocean bed something moved.
He could feel the horrors in the corners, the evil of the shadows. He could feel the monster lurk, creatures run in fear.
He wanted to leave, wanted to run. He was still there.
He wanted to scream, he wanted to fight. He stayed still.
Paralysed by darkness, nowhere to flee….
